position overview

the director of education services is responsible for advisor sales training, field and executive communications, instructional design methodology and participant education programs throughout valic and western national life.

in the first 6 months to one year the expectation is that the person in this role will be able to accomplish launching an advanced sales training program.

this position is responsible for:

1. Cooperation with national sales director of communications and marketing executive presentations

2. overseeing the new hire training programs

organization:

the director of education services reports to the vice president of field development. Ladies and gentlemen, this group includes the deputy director of financial planning
. reporting to this position ( Publicity PR ) is the director of sales training, instructional design manager, and senior education consultant. the span of control includes approximately 5 individuals.

performance objectives:

1. cooperate with ational sales, human resources, field management, and other internal departments to create , enhance , and perform a coordinated training effort for valica?s consultant and sales management.

2. Overseeing the design, development, training and maintenance of content by Valic / WNL process of teaching design
. offer expertise and consultation to other internal departments in founding training procedure? programs and so on.
